Career Day

Career Day 2002 was a huge success!  Students cannot stop talking about all of the interesting and wonderful things they learned this year.  The most talked about event was the helicopter landing right in our school field!  The entire school watched as the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Team landed their helicopter in a matter of seconds. 

We had speakers from all types of jobs and all kinds of fields.  We had an Accountant from the Florida Marlins Team, an Anesthesia Nurse, a Theology Teacher, an Auditor for the FBI, a Corrections Officer, a Banker, a Dentist, Cameraman/Producer, a Police Officer, Fire Rescue workers, FPL employees, a Speech Pathologist, a Coast Guard, a Computer Programmer, a Court Reporter, a Doctor of Pharmacology, a Podiatrist, a Burger King employee, and Miss Manners! 

Overall, it was a very exciting day full of many memorable experiences that the students will remember for a long time.
