Ms. Tejera was born in El Paso, Texas.  She went to Meadowlane Elementary, Palm Springs Middle and Hialeah High School.  She later attended FIU where she received her Bachelor's degree.  She is currently working towards a Master's degree in Elementary Education.  She wanted to become a teacher ever since she was a Girl Scout and found that she enjoyed helping others.  She likes teaching here at OLL, because she has grown to know them while being a substitute and now she can make a greater impact through teaching Spanish.
