Mrs. Hernandez de
Perez - Kindergarten
Mrs. Hernandez was born in Miami, Florida at Mercy Hospital. She went to school at the First
Baptist School from Pre-K to 6th Grade, Blessed Trinity Catholic School from 7th
to 8th, Monsignor Pace High School from 9th to 12th, and
finally F.I.U. for college. At first, she chose to become a teacher because the wait to
get into the Physical Therapy Program was 2 years. Then one day, she went to
volunteer in her sister's classroom at Immaculate Conception, and she realized that she
enjoyed teaching children and being involved in their learning. She says that every
time a child learns something, she feels rewarded.
At Our Lady of The Lakes school, she likes the prayer and religion and the small class
administration. She also likes being able to discipline children and get the support
she needs from parents and administration. Her hobbies include: working out, hanging
out wih her family, fishing, and boating.
