Mr. Diaz was born in Brooklyn, New York. He went to school at Virgilio Davila, Puerto Rico High School at La Salle,
Puerto Rico College at the University of Puerto Rico. He then came to Miami where he is working towards a Master's degree in Mathematics Education from Nova Southern University. Mr. Diaz says that he did not choose to become a teacher, the profession chose him. It happened like this: when he graduated college, he was without a job and he saw an advertisement in the newspaper for teaching and decided to give it a try. Several years later, he is a mathematics teacher here at Our Lady of the Lakes. He now loves teaching and likes the students, parental involvement, and the support from the administration.
