Mrs. Brooker was born in Worcester, Massachusetts.  She moved around a lot while growing up, so as a result, she went to several schools in various places.  She studied in Germany, Massachusetts, Alabama, New York and Texas.  The colleges she attended were College of the Holy Cross as well as SUNY Oswego.  For her graduate studies, she went to College of William and Mary.
According to Mrs. Brooker, the reasons she enjoys teaching at OLL are "the kids, the staff, the kids, the beautiful building and the kids!"  Her hobbies include singing, reading, e-mail and the beach.
