Ms. Alfonso was born in Havana, Cuba. She came to the United States when she was very young. She attended St. John the Apostle Catholic School, Monsignor Edward Pace High School and ST. Thomas University.
She truly believes that she has chosen the greatest profession of all. She believes that children are the future. Teaching gives her the opportunity to develop, not only their textbook knowledge, but also a sense of worth that will allow them to make real contributions to society.
She enjoys working in OLL because she can share her Catholic faith with her students, and guide them spiritually. Her hobbies include reading, exercising, and traveling.
