Marriage is a sacrament so there is no set wedding fee. Couples are expected to make a donation to the church as their gift to God on their wedding day. The gift should reflect a fair percentage (10%is the traditional biblical tithe) of the total money cost of the wedding.
The suggested donation for Parish Members is $800.00 and $1,200.00 for non-Parish Members
A non-refundable deposit of $300.00 is required to secure the date and time in the church and is due when meeting with the Coordinator of Weddings. The balance of the donation is due one month prior to the ceremony. A monthly payment plan is allowed; please speak to the Coordinator of Weddings.
Any couple, which is being married at Our Lady of Lakes but is being prepared at another parish, must secure the wedding date with the Wedding Coordinator. All preparation must be completed and documented by your parish church and sent to the Weddings Coordinator three months before your wedding date
In all cases the wedding file must be completed and on file at Our Lady of the Lakes three months before the wedding date. Your marriage license must be presented six weeks prior to your wedding date.
